## What PlugJolt Does

PlugJolt provides a complete EV charging solution for multifamily and student housing properties. The property pays nothing — PlugJolt covers all hardware, installation, permitting, maintenance, billing, insurance ($1M commercial general liability), and customer support. Properties earn 10% of net charging revenue as a monthly royalty.

Residents scan a QR code on the charger, tap "Start Charging" in the app, and plug in overnight. They receive a morning notification: "Your car is full. 42 kWh added. You saved $11 this week."

1. **Scan**: Walk up to any PlugJolt charger and scan the QR code with your phone camera. The app opens instantly. Sign up with your phone number — takes 15 seconds.
2. **Tap Start**: Choose your port, tap the green button, and plug in your car. Pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any card.
3. **Wake Up Full**: PlugJolt charges your car overnight. Morning notification confirms charge complete with kWh added and money saved.

**How much does a typical charge cost?**
About $7-10 for an overnight charge on pay-as-you-go ($0.35/kWh). With a Commuter membership, the same charge costs about $5-6. Cheaper than a tank of gas.

**What cars work with PlugJolt?**
Any electric vehicle with a J1772 port — every EV sold in America. Tesla owners use an adapter (usually included with the car). Compatible vehicles include Chevy Bolt, Nissan Leaf, Hyundai Ioniq, Ford Mustang Mach-E, VW ID.4, and all Teslas.

**What does this cost the property?**
Nothing. PlugJolt covers all costs. The property provides parking spots and electrical access, and receives 10% of net charging revenue as a monthly royalty.

**Who handles maintenance?**
PlugJolt handles 100% of maintenance and repairs. Chargers are monitored remotely 24/7 through the OCPP network management system. The property's maintenance team never touches the chargers.

**Is the first charge really free?**
Yes. First session is free up to 10 kWh (about 30-40 miles of range). No credit card required for the free charge.
